If you are looking for a truly unique adventure in the Rocky Mountains, our rock climbing excursion should be at the top of your list! Less than 30 minutes driving from Denver are some of the most spectacular rock formations for climbing at all levels of difficulty. The views on to downtown Denver and surrounding mountains are absolutely stunning.

We only offer top rope climbing which is the safest way of rock climbing because you are always tied to a rope above you. Our experienced guides will show you the basics of climbing and safety as well as pick the appropriate climbing route for your abilities. We provide all climbing gear, transportation, snacks, and drinks for your 5-hour adventure!!

IMPORTANT

  • A major credit card is required to hold your reservation. We charge 50% of your total at the time of reservation and on the morning of your scheduled activity (and after assessing the weather conditions) your credit card will be charged the remaining balance (50%).
  • To cancel a reservation, contact us no later than 72 hrs before the departure time of your trip. For late cancelations, your credit card will be charged 50% of the total. No-shows are non-refundable.
  • Weather in the Rockies can be unpredictable so bring some extra clothes with you. "Layering" is the best method of clothing for activities in the mountains. We also recommend bringing/wearing hiking shoes (or sneakers with good ankle support), sunglasses, sunscreen, hat/cap, windbreaker. All climbing gear is provided. Please consider that the temperature difference between the city and the trail location could be as much as 20 degrees.
  • Proper hydration is essential for performing activities at high altitude. Even though a sportsdrink is provided, you may want to bring an extra bottle. Some people encounter headaches due to the elevation. Aspirin is helpful in such case.
  • Denver Adventures can cancel the activity any time due to weather conditions or other factors. We will refund your money or apply it to a future trip.
  • The degree of difficulty of your hike depends on the information you provide on the Liability Waiver and Health Questionnaire and when you reserve your adventure.
