Snow Tubing

You think this is an activity for kids? Think again. This tubing hill is about 100 yards long and gets your heart going. How does it work? Well, after a 30-minute scenery drive up the mountains we arrive at the tubing location. You pick up one of our tubes and hike up the hill. Once at the top, you get on it and hold on for dear life! Repeat until you're beat. In a half day, total of 4 hours, you will have between 2.5 and 3 hours on the hill. That is plenty of time to wear anyone out. If you don't fall asleep on the drive back, you will soon after that! FYI: for kids or less adventurous people, this is also a shorter less challenging hill.

IMPORTANT

A major credit card is required to hold your reservation. We charge 50% of your total at the time of reservation and on the morning of your scheduled activity (and after assessing the weather conditions) your credit card will be charged the remaining balance (50%).
To cancel a reservation, contact us no later than 72 hrs before the departure time of your trip. For late cancelations, your credit card will be charged 50% of the total. No-shows are non-refundable.
Weather in the Rockies can be unpredictable so bring some extra clothes with you. "Layering" is the best method of clothing for activities in the mountains. We also recommend bringing/wearing waterproof or resistent pants, hiking shoes (or sneakers with good ankle support), sunglasses, sunscreen, hat/cap, windbreaker. All gear is provided. Please consider that the temperature difference between the city and the trail location could be as much as 20 degrees.
Proper hydration is essential for performing activities at high altitude. Even though a sportsdrink is provided, you may want to bring an extra bottle. Some people encounter headaches due to the elevation. Aspirin is helpful in such case.
Denver Adventures can cancel the activity any time due to weather conditions or other factors. We will refund your money or apply it to a future trip.
The degree of difficulty of your activity depends on the information you provide on the Liability Waiver and Health Questionnaire and when you reserve your adventure.
