Physical Ability: Participants should be comfortable walking on natural mountain trails with uneven terrain, inclines, and changes in elevation.
Elevation: Our birding experience takes place anywhere between 6,000 to 8,000+ feet above sea level. Guests should be prepared for the effects of Colorado's higher elevation.

Medical & Mobility Considerations: Guests with medical conditions, mobility limitations, or other physical restrictions should contact us before booking to determine whether the terrain and elevation are appropriate.

Come prepared to enjoy a morning or afternoon exploring the beautiful Rocky Mountain Front Range. We recommend bringing:
Binoculars – Bring your favorite pair for the best birding experience. If you do not have any, we will provide binoculars free of charge.
Clothing - We suggest not wearing bright or colorful clothes. Birds react strongly to colors, so dark or earth tones would be better.
Comfortable Hiking or Walking Shoes – Closed-toe shoes with good traction are recommended for mountain trails and uneven terrain.
Water – Bring a reusable water bottle and stay hydrated, especially at higher elevation. We will provide extra water and snacks throughout the tour.
Weather-Appropriate Layers – Colorado mountain weather can change quickly, so a light jacket or extra layer is always a good idea.
Sun Protection – Sunscreen, sunglasses, and a hat are highly recommended.
Camera – Optional, but encouraged! Bring your camera or phone to capture birds, wildlife, and beautiful Rocky Mountain scenery. Add on photography package for a fee if you don’t have a camera.
Small Backpack – Helpful for carrying water, layers, snacks, and personal items while keeping your hands free for binoculars.
A Sense of Curiosity – You never know what you’ll spot! Every birding tour is different depending on the season, weather, and wildlife activity.
Please leave speakers and loud music behind. Keeping noise to a minimum gives everyone a better opportunity to observe birds and other wildlife in their natural habitat.
